The prestigious jazz vocalist and guitarist John Pizzarelli will perform at Theatre ‘El Salinero’ on November 5th.
The renowned jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli will visit Lanzarote on the 5th of November to present his new album ‘Midnight McCartney’, in a concert that will take place at 9.00 pm at Theatre ‘El Salinero’.
Midnight McCartney has its origins in the LP Kisses on the Bottom, with which Paul McCartney won a Grammy in 2012 in the category of Best Album of Traditional Pop Vocal.
Pizzarelli played the guitar in ten of the 14 songs and was with Sir Paul in the concert he gave at Capital Records Studios and at the Grammys Ceremony.
Fifteen months after these concerts, McCartney wrote to Pizzarelli to study the possibility of recording some of his lesser-known jazz style themes.
