Lanzarote Crafts Fair 2016
The Crafts Fair was created to preserve our most genuine popular culture and heritage.
This year its twenty-eighth edition is celebrated and it wishes to remain a benchmark in the island due to the popular support and the number of visitors increasing year after year.
The support so far marks the path to follow in the future, having already established itself as the oldest and most important crafts encounter in Lanzarote and one of the most important in the Canary Islands.
This year, the fair will host nearly a hundred booths of artisans of all kinds, such as potters, carpenters, artisans of palm products, leatherwork, etc.
The Lanzarote Craft Fair is recognised for its value as a meeting place and recovery of tasks, jobs, products and customs that were at risk of disappearing. It is a popular and close encounter, in which anyone who wants to discover the traditions, customs, crafts, culture and gastronomy of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands should not miss.
