Harvest Festival

  |   Art, Business, Photography

Bodegas La Geria recreates again the Harvest Festival, where many tourists and residents enjoy the traditional process of collection, transfer and grape treading.

As every year, on August 15th, La Geria becomes the great protagonist of the day.

Throughout the day, from morning to night, a live representation of the traditional harvesting was recreated, the way that it was once done on the island, with camels.

All attendees had the opportunity to discover first-hand the whole process done for winemaking. The grape harvest, selection, transfers on camels to the winery and its subsequent tread barefoot. An experience that many repeat every year on these dates.
